Healing Energies and Wellness Center in Royersford provides path to healing – The Mercury

ROYERSFORD – Healing Energies and Wellness Center, formerly the Healing Energies Chiropractic Center, is pleased to announce the opening of its new Health, Wellness and Federal Injury Center on Thursday September 29th.

“We’re excited to expand our commitment to the community,” said Dan Falcone, the center’s operations director. “We will expand our offer to include energy work and wellness.”

The center’s move from a smaller 1,200-square-foot space in Royersford, Montgomery County, where it has been since its inception eight years ago, was fueled by a desire to offer a broader range of services in a larger location. The new location, also in Royersford, is 4,000 square feet.

“We’ve been in business long enough that we’ve felt good about expanding our space and our services,” Falcone said. “We started with chiropractic care and have added massage therapy, Reiki energy work and more.”

The center also offers Inner Child Healing, Lifestyle Coaching, Pranic Healing, ThetaHealing, Zero Gravity Massage Chairs, Therapeutic Yoga and Nutrition classes.

“It started as a dream of a place that would be a one-stop shop offering alternative healthcare to meet everyone’s needs,” said Dr. Heidi Pendleton, DC, who owns the center. “Here we address the physical, emotional, nutritional, spiritual, chemical and energetic needs.”

For the past eight months, the center has also been certified to provide case management and therapy for injured federal employees.

“It’s a space when federal employees get injured on the job, like postal workers who may have sustained a back injury,” Falcone said. “It’s difficult to get applications approved by the government, so we help them get their applications approved so they can get the care they need.”

Falcone said the center helps make the whole process less of a chore for federal employees.

“The workers don’t have to pay us anything — once their applications are approved, we get paid by the government,” he said, adding that they hope to expand and offer more centers in the future as they are currently the only federal injury center in Pennsylvania.

Aside from the federal violation offerings, the center has a Zen studio where yoga and meditation classes are held by teachers who rent the space.

“What’s exciting is that we’re actually recruiting very quickly all the necessary, amazing, talented people and practitioners who are able to give the community what it needs,” Pendleton said. “We offer so many things that engage the body, mind and spirit.”

Classes are currently held in the evenings, but the center is interested in expanding to include daytime classes in the future.

“Because we have a lot of seniors in our community, we want to offer chair yoga and things like that that we can use to help older people stay flexible and young,” Falcone said.

The center’s loyal following can be attributed to the personal touch they bring to each client, with Dr. Pendleton serves as the principal chiropractor at the center. There is also a nursing service on site.

“We treat you like family,” Falcone said. “For those seeking our federal injury support, they will drive an hour to see us.”

Though the area has more than doubled, Pendleton said the center’s new location hasn’t lost its positive attributes.

“It’s comfortable, loving, caring, nurturing and inspiring, and I think that’s what people need and what I want to bring to the community,” she said.
